Le due e un quarto (two and a quarter) is a Turin based theatre company, funded in 2007 by Silvia Laniado and Martina Soragna. Both trained in physical theatre at the Atelier Teatro Fisico Philip Radice, they started to develop a company aesthetic based on the use of the puppet body and the actress body and their respective movements merged in a comic uniqueness. The company performed in several theatres, variety shows, puppetry and street theatre festivals in Italy and abroad. In 2009 the company won the “ Benedetto Ravasio Award”  because “in a funny meta-theatrical way, they mix the comedy with the puppets […] A way to refresh and to give a new meaning to a popular show, not just for children.”
